Spanish Diploma as a Foreign Language

The Spanish Diploma as a Foreign Language (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera) is designed to assess the language skills of candidates. It consists of six proficiency levels, ranging from A1 (beginner) to C2 (comparable to a native speaker).

Where to Take the DELE Test?

The DELE exam can be taken at any officially recognized DELE exam center authorized by the Instituto Cervantes.

In Abu Dhabi, The Spanish Language Centre (SLC) is the ONLY accredited institution for conducting and evaluating the DELE exam.

To register for the test, candidates must complete the registration process at the SLC.

DELE Preparation

These courses are specifically designed as preparation for the DELE Exams. It is available for A1, A2, B1, B2 and school-age individuals.

During the DELE Preparation Course, participants will engage in a comprehensive study of the Spanish language, focusing on key areas such as, reading comprehension, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Through interactive lessons, practical exercises, and simulated exam scenarios, students will have the opportunity to strengthen their understanding and proficiency in Spanish.

Experienced instructors will guide students through the exam requirements, strategies, and techniques to help them perform at their best on the DELE General Exams. Additionally, personalized feedback and individualized attention will be given to address specific areas of improvement and ensure each student’s success.

By the end of the course, participants will be well-equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the DELE General Exams at the A1, A2, B1, and B2 levels. This program offers a valuable opportunity for adult and young learners to achieve their language learning goals and obtain an internationally recognized certification of their Spanish proficiency.
